K-Scan hair and scalp analysis in Adelaide

K-Scan is a Kérastase smart camera used only by hairdressers. It combines three lights with a 4K camera, and an AI model trained on more than 12,000 hair and scalp images reads the photos so your stylist can see what your hair and scalp need.

White LED light shows sebum, the hair fibre and cuticle condition. Cross polarised light removes glare to show redness, capillaries and scalp tone. UV light shows what the eye can't see, such as dandruff and porphyrins made by the scalp's microbiome.

It measures porphyrins, dandruff, oiliness, redness, hair fibre diameter and root density, which is the number of hairs per square centimetre.

Your stylist uses the results to recommend an in-salon Kérastase treatment and the products to use at home.

Yes. You can compare your hair and scalp at the start and end of your visit, and track your progress at later visits.
